Frequently asked questions
How long does it take?
Most companies are registered within 1–2 business days once we have all your information. ABN and TFN applications can take a little longer depending on ATO processing times.
Do I need a director ID?
Yes. Every director of an Australian company must hold a director ID issued by the Australian Business Registry Services (ABRS). It’s free, and we can point you to the application if you don’t have one yet.
Should I be a sole trader or a company?
It depends on your income, your risk, and your plans. A company offers limited liability and a flat tax rate, but comes with more compliance and cost. If you’re unsure, book a free call and we’ll talk through your situation.
What’s a company constitution?
The constitution is the rulebook for how your company is run — how shares work, how directors make decisions, and how meetings happen. Every company should have one, and we prepare it as part of your setup.
